Welcome to the re-launch of Local 517 website. As you may have noticed the website has shifted from a .ca address to a .com address.

We have added a new forum to the site which will allow members to discuss issues within corrections as well as any issues that have arisen from the ASMPP program. The forum will require members to register prior to posting and/or reading the forums.

Please be advised of the following advisory: The administrators and facilitators of the OPSEU Local 517 website, www.local517.com (hereafter referred to as "website") will not accept any unwelcoming words, conversations or behaviours against our sisters and brothers. All users of the website will show respect for/to all persons, while refraining from participation in any form of harassment, discrimination, unwelcome words or malicious intent. Any person taking part in prohibited activities on the website may, at a minimum, have their website login revoked.
